(More customer reviews)Product description sounds great and the item is so close in appearance to the much more expensive Breville BOV800XL Toaster Oven that I bought it (NOT from Amazon!) After carefully reading all directions and setting the Kenmore Elite toaster oven for toast I tried a couple of pieces of bread. Just plain white bread. Well, it was set on medium and it did not work. Set on DARK is almost blackened one side (bottom) and left the top white. By that time the bread resembled Melba toast except that the top was still white, but hard! If a "Toaster Oven"Doesn't create good toast what's the point of having it? Even if it bales like a champ (it didn't). I am returning it to the Kenmore seller on Monday. Meanwhile I ordered the Breville BOV800XL The Smart Oven from Amazon today. I hope that it does what it says that it will do!
