I love this roaster/griller! I grill a lot of fish, and this is wonderful in that it you don't need to turn the fish (or meat) over.Only set back is that you can't have very thick slices of meat or very fat fish since there is a heating element both on top and at the bottom. The top element can char the area of the fish/meat if it touches. But you can always cover these areas with a bit of foil.Make sure you have a little water on the tray all the time when using, so that whatever you're grilling won't smoke. Just be careful when cleaning the ceramic filter...it breaks easily when bumped, like I did when I hit the counter when I was shaking off water after washing. You can get replacement, but it's $20 with the shipping and handling.Otherwise, it heats fast and turns off automatically at 30 minutes, for safety. You can always add more time for cooking. It's so easy to clean, as the whole thing dismantles.

Product Description:
A fast, easy alternative to starting up the barbecue or turning on the full-size oven, this electric roaster takes up minimal space on the countertop, yet delivers excellent results when roasting meat, grilling fish or chicken, and much more. The unit's 13-1/2-by-7-1/4-inch grilling surface can accommodate several whole lake fish or hamburger patties or a mix of fresh summer vegetables, while its top and bottom heating elements ensure even cooking without the need to flip. Simply place food on the grill, lower the lid using the stay-cool side handles, and set the timer up to 30 minutes. The roaster uses water in the form of steam to perfectly cook food, and its built-in ceramic filter reduces smoke and odors. Oil and juice drip away from the food for crispier results, and the roaster shuts off automatically at the end of the selected cook time. Other highlights include a see-through window, a removable lid and base, and dishwasher-safe parts for quick cleanup. The 1100-watt ETL-listed roaster measures 18-1/2 by 11 by 7-1/2 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.
